B-Compliant is a BBBEE Software Solutions and Consulting company owned and managed by Kelvin Owen.
Kelvin has been in the IT & Management Consulting business since 1979 and has specialized on SYSPRO since 1989.
The introduction of the Broad-Based Black Economic Empowerment (BBBEE) Act created a need for a means by which companies can monitor and manage their BBBEE compliancy on an ongoing basis.
Kelvin has filled this need by designing and developing a software system that allows companies to do just this.
With the knowledge that Kelvin has gained in studying the contents of the various Government Gazettes and other related documents, Kelvin is also well qualified to provide a consulting service on matters relating to BBBEE.
Government Gazette 31255, which deals with the “Framework for Accreditation and Verification by all Verification Agencies”, clearly states that, to avoid any conflict of interest, an accredited verification agency may not provide any consulting services to a client and that a BBBEE consulting company may not audit an client.
B-Compliant is not an Accredited Verification Agency and is therefore not allowed to audit any company or issue Certificates of Compliance. Accredited Verification Agency are not allowed to provide any consulting or advice to their clients.
